2011 Independent review of our Okato shaft
2011

Employing a unique design of materials and shaft performance characteristics proprietary to TourSwing golf, the shaft went through extensive testing; employing multiple redesigns and modifications to achieve the desired performance-driven results for a wide scope of golfers. Testers of TourSwing shafts have included high, mid and low handicap players, Long Drive competitors, Nationwide, PGA and Champions Tour professionals.

"Our driving force behind the Okato was to break the limitations that other shafts in the past had established. To TRULY create a shaft that would incorporate all the characteristics sought by a wide scope of players, into one shaft. Our goal was to create a shaft that had the loading power that a smooth tempo player enjoys, but the stability to withstand the most aggressive of swings a long hitter requires."

"We set out to design and create a shaft that has cutting-edge load and recovery characteristics, thereby ensuring maximum power transfer as the shaft whips through the impact zone and unloads the ultimate force into the golf ball and through impact."

The name "Okato" is as unique as the shaft itself.

It takes its name from the Native American, Sioux Indian nation that originally inhabited the Wisconsin/Iowa territories where the concept and design of the shaft originated.

In the native Sioux tongue, Okato means: "Nail it!" or "Hard force".
